July Update

Greetings from Telluride!

It has been a glorious summer season and the San Juan super bloom is offering incredible wild flowers everywhere to be seen! The high country hiking is finally open after a significant winter and we are enjoying every minute. 

In the real estate market, we continue to see fantastic new listings hit the market. The number of sales in Mountain Village remain down 27% YTD but only down 4% in terms of dollar volume. And in the town of Telluride, the number of sales are down 51% YTD but only 38% in terms of dollar volume. After record breaking years, lower YTD numbers are to be expected, the big takeaway is that the market is holding and prices still increasing. That being said, some of the power has shifted back to the Buyer allowing for more negotiations and better terms making this a good time to be looking for property.
