January Update

Happy New Year from our Telluride Snow Globe! 
 
Hello and Happy 2023! We hope you had a wonderful holiday and took time to relax after another whirlwind year. Whether you are considering a new vacation home or adding a new investment property into your portfolio, we look forward to helping you achieve those goals in 2023!  There is nothing like the passing of another year to remind us that time is ticking. What are you wanting to accomplish this year? 
 
As for Telluride, the Covid frenzy is over and we are adjusting to a new market. Properties are not selling quite as fast but the desire for new inventory continues and pricing remains strong. Our small box canyon town is not making more land, and there is not enough supply to cover the demand. We expect the number of sales to come down in 2023, but actually a small price increase in the overall market. 
 
Fortunate for the ski and snowboard enthusiasts it has been snowing nonstop here over the last couple weeks, and much of the Telluride Ski Resort is now open including some of Lift 9 terrain! Both Doppelmayr and the ski company continue to work on the new lift and there is talk of completion by the end of the month. We will keep our fingers crossed and, in the meantime, enjoy the rest of this great mountain.
